Re: Ice the Kicker

I tried icing the opposing team's kicker at the end of the 2nd half by calling a timeout twice, but the ice animation never showed up.

I've never seen it. Are you supposed to be able to ice the CPU? I've never been able to.

Re: Ice the Kicker

if you wanna get around the ice

just hold down the R TRIGGER(360) and itll zoom out for you

you cant adjust the angle while zoomed out

then zoom back in, adjust the angle and then R TRIGGER to zoom out and check the angle

i dont know how this passed the testers but the R TRIGGER nullifies the icing as you can properly angle the kick and we all know we can get full power on a kick with our eyes closed

way to go ea

For someone who plays straight-sim ball, you sure seem to know your way around everything.

i always zoom out to check my angle on every fg.

i tried it when i was iced and it worked.

sorry im the sim godfather

the bad thing is youll never know when someone is zooming out so save them timeouts, this is yet another broken feature

Re: Ice the Kicker

I don't mind the ice on the meter but the angle is lousy. I have no clue where I'm aiming so I'm turning it off. Just having the controller rumble a lot would have been fine by me. But its an option that can be turned off so its not a big deal at all.

Re: Ice the Kicker

Love the feature as it add some elements of drama. It does suck to be on an angle but that's part of the game. When it's a close game and I feel I may get iced I just make sure (if possible) I get lined up on an area I'm comfortable with. Nice addition, IMO.
