We better make a list of what EA did right in this game....

Ok, I will bite:

EA made steps forward this year on all aspects excluding the gameplay.

Player control - may need a little more weightiness but to me this is the best part of the improvements made, although some others have been highlighted such as audibles, Slide protections, player models ect.

1. Running game
2. Tackles are much improved
3. O-line and D-line interaction much improved
4. Stadium sounds, I didn't expect the awesomeness of it
5. Speedy menus and depth charts
6. EA Locker
7. Dynasty "quick calls" and Online Dynasty
8. Less Ints from A.I.
9. Transition from move to move
10. Playbooks are much improved and leads to improved A.I. playcalling.

Another thing that is good is the Human deep passing game. Its far from automatic like in years past on the PS2. Its fair, you can still complete a few a game if played properly, but can't really abuse the defense.

They got rid of the "fumble" bug.

I like the new stat overlays like Joe Quarterback 17/21 236 yds during the gameplay.

I know this will sound stupid, but I would say the the on the field logos and such look much better from last year. I swear last year it looked like a 3 year old had colored in some of the logos. This year...much more crisp.

I forgot the grass looks nice. Also the sidelines though not very animated have improved so much, from 08.
