Why did they make Cal so terrible?

Just to clear things up I dont play as CAL. Just always catches my eye when I look at the ranks. Cal does get better though...But it seems like the first year they get destroyed. It's funny cuz one of the guys said "Oregon is horrible" because they went 10-1 coming into my game vs. them. I guess it's just really random...

Also what's funny...Is that ALL the teams in California give me a hard time (Even Stanford sadly enough)

UCLA always gives me a fight...Even if they are 2-7.

I absolutely destroy both Washington teams...And Oregon State is in the middle. Arizona gets slaughtered...Arizona State gets slaughtered. It's amazing how good they made Arizona St. in this game...My third year they were #1 and I was #3 when we both faced...I won by 28...Needless to say...I went #1 after that game.

Arizona State is typically high top 10 every time I go through a season.
An example of this is that last year, I beat them in the Rose Bowl and now they're number three this year.

This relates why Georgia is #1 and BYU is I think #24 to start out with? If they have a good recruiting class or good returning seniors they just go by overall ranking by attribute...It's kind of what they do in real life. For example FSU is not ranked after year one but if they go 6-6 in the previous year...They will be roughly around 20th depending on who is returning and what they're overall team rating is.

To me, it seems as though the more wins I have, and the higher my ranking, the CPU always gives me a challenge. I was doing a dynasty with Cal and beat UCLA 22-15 on a 4th quarter touchdown. Then when I played Stanford, it was just as close. I went undefeated on Heisman despite not having Jahvid Best for 9 games.

Theres a couple of teams that under preform in the 1st year. Notre Dame is the one I always notice and Georgia(for being a 99OVR) is another. These could just be the case for me.
This is kinda off topic but I play with PITT and it seems like after 3 or 4 years in a dynasty the Big East teams just falls off. Even WVU drops out of the TOP 25 preseason polls. In reality Cincinnati, Louisville, USF, UCONN and even Rutgers is on the rise. But after 3 or 4 years they all suck. It makes me mad because its hard for me to make an impact on the BCS with all of my divison opponites being so crappy.
