No, not actually perfect. But a hell of a lot better than what we've got now. I'll be blogging about this over the next couple months at least. I will probably update once a week or so... maybe.

that was a good read, i agree with ya,
the thing i think needs to be adressed in football games is the rating system, we need one that will differentiate the scrubs from the starts from the superstars.
right now all that matters is speed.

Re: How to make the "perfect" football game

U must remember 1 thing and 1 thing only....EA sells games to the masses!!!! Do u know how many 10-12 year olds will never figure out how to hold the stick half way so they dont overthrow? Hence making the game that much harder will hurt there "casual gamer" sales.

Now, i am all for custom games in which we can switch this ON and OFF. I love ur idea and would love to be able to use this idea plus adding a little more to it.

But now there are two classes of players....6 impact players and 16 'other' guys.

I think where this really is important is in the OL and DL. DB's, I can tell the difference. QB's, at least in throwing and stuff, yes, AWR even high AWR qb's aren't as good as they should be.

More than ratings I think right now is that players need to have more of a weight-based interaction system.

impact players were cooo, but then every team had one and they were overpowered, youll have a lower rated RB on a lower rated team running crazy on higher rated teams (which may happen)
