Online Dynasty Problem - some teams don't advance.

Myself and 7 other friends are in an online dynasty, and we got through our first season without any problems. Upon starting the second season, in the first week we started having problems with some teams not advancing when the dynasty was simmed. For example, I had a bye week during the first week, and just put in my recruiting hours. When the commish simmed, I was still stuck in week 1, and none of my recruiting had been done.

Not know what was going on, I just did my recruiting again and waited. When the commish simmed again, I had lost my week 2 game vs the CPU, which I never got to play, and my previous recruiting efforts disappeared.

It seemed at this point that I was up to date, because I now showed week 3 opponent, played them, won my game and did my recruiting. Commish simmed again, and now I'm still stuck in week 3, showing that I haven't played yet.

This same scenario is happening to 2 other teams.

What is the problem? ..and can anything be done to fix it?

The game is looking to a saved version of the file on the hard drive rather than using the latest downloaded version. I have had this happen to me before. From the main menus, go to : My NCAA 09, File Management, load and delete, and tab (d-pad) over to the Online Dynasty group and delete whatever is there by pushing the Y/triangle button.

The commish of your league needs to stop saving the game offline. And everybody in the league should as well.

Saving it to offline dynasty is fine, (basically making a backup) but saving the online dynasty (like when it asks you if you want to after it downloads the file) the commish should not do. If the commish is not doing it, everybody else can do it and there won't be a problem. But regardless, anytime this happens to you, just make sure to delete your saved version of the file and it will force the game to use the latest, downloaded version of the file rather than the save on your hard drive.

Another problem that you guys may not even have noticed that arises from the commish saving the online dynasty to his hard drive is that the commish will pick up extra wins during the course of the year. We only had a max of one win but one time it cost me a conference title
