It's in the SC Playbook, but we ran this play a couple times this year, along with using the Wild Cat with Joe Martinek.

OU doesn't really run a spread offfense. OU runs a ho huddle offense that is uptempo but the play is called at the line of scrimmage after Bradford or the offensive coordinator reads the defense.

I consider a spread offense to be out of the shotgun with 4 or 5 WR every play with some run option mixed in. OU uses a ton of different formations and still likes to run the ball under center.

If you every watch Peyton Manning run the colts offense, it kind of reminds me of how Bradford trys to fun OU's offense.

There are plenty of wildcat formations in the alot of playbooks. You just have to find them in the formation subs.

Offfense:
USC used a lot more shotgun formations than were in the game this year. There is only one in the game, whereas they probably ran around four or five variations of the shotgun formation in real life.

Also, USC would come out a lot in open sets with one or two running backs split-out wide. From there, they'd motion a running back into the actual backfield and run a run or play-action play.

Defense:
Despite the fact that they're officially a 4-3 defense, USC often came out with either a defensive end standing up or a fourth linebacker in place of a defensive tackle.
