Re: Gentlemen, this is what EA is telling you is "impossible"

Is SCEA using this technology for MLB?

Is Konami using this technology for Winning Eleven?

Is 2K using this technology for NBA 2K?

We know EA isn't using it for its games.

If its so wonderful, and is the "future" of gaming, then why are no high profile sports developers using the tech for any of their sports games?

Is it possible that its exactly as Ian has been saying, that its not quite ready for prime time. No that can't be it. -Insert conspiracy theory/Anti EA rant here-

Man I wish Backbreaker would hurry up and come out. Its so tiresome to see people continually carrying the banner for a theoretical concept.

I want them to have to champion a fully realized flop, there's some real entertainment value in seeing that.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

EA will probably introduce this for the next-next gen systems. They will make the first Madden with this, and that will give them a reason to not put anything more than a season mode in it, if even that. It will sell like hot cakes because it "looks kewl"

If backbreaker does release this game I think the sales will be very poor. Poor enough for them to sell their whole natural motion engine, which hopefully ea will buy.

I just can't see a game like that bring successful..not enough hardcore gamers and too many casual gamers (who love madden "NFL")

But I could do one on one tackling all day with that engine .

I thought EA already bought the rights to use NVIDIA's physics engine, which creates the Natural motion engine, for its sports titles.

Rights being bought =/= rights being used. Which, if true, makes it even more frustrating.

Ummmm...ea buys up everything and never uses it. EA is like the jealous ex-lover, "If I can't have you, no one else can either."

EA also bought the ESPN lisence, doesn't mean they plan to use it.
