Wow what a couple of great features!

Can't wait!

Still hoping progressive lighting is in though; can't quite tell...

Re: NCAA Football 10: Player Lock and Defensive Assist

I like the player lock since this is how I play on defense. Same player, no switching.

I'll take a wait and see approach to the defensive assist. This is a feature that never crossed my mind and thus something that I didn't think was needed... sounds like something to make the game easier for kids. Hopefully, it doesn't work "too well" if you know what I mean.

I definitely like the change of camera to behind the player you are controlling on defense.

p.s. hoping we get a blog with improvements to campus legend soon...

Yeah but you guys are assuming that when you switch to a player to use player lock it will stay that way for the next play. I'll bet that's not how it works. You choose a MLB and the camera changes. Then the next play it's back to the regular camera angle. Which means the feature is going to simply be a gimmick and not a useful one.

who said that's what i assumed?

can't you just choose the player again on the next play and it will go right back to his camera angle?

Sadly, that was just confirmed on another board. I'm personally pissed off now because that is HORRIBLE.

I'm generally an optimistic person about NCAA/Madden, but I'm getting sick of the half-assed, half-done features that the NCAA team is putting into the game. All of these features have been done correctly in past EA sports games, yet we get the short bus versions.

College DBs don't jump 8 feet in the air and deflect the Football like Dikembe Mutombo and yet this has been EAs way of playing pass defense for as long as I can remember.
+10000000000000000 for the pic!
+1 for the post!
