Omt how will you all combat people with inapropriate logos and team names? I know alot of younger kids will be seeing this and wanted to know if any measures were being put in place?

Good question, and honestly this has been the toughest part about developing this feature... policing user generated content (UGC as they call it).

As far as text, there are two filters... one is the EA Sportworld filter, and then once you download the team to your console it goes through the Xbox 360 or PS3 filter. If you enter a banned word on the web app it will alert you and make you change it. If the word gets through the web app but is blocked on the console, it will appear as Xs. Also, the 360 and PS3 banned words list do not match. The PS3 one is made and maintained by EA's online group, and the 360 one is actually controlled by Microsoft.

For logos... this is where it is really tricky. This is also the reason why TeamBuilder is coming with preloaded logos. If you select one of these logos, we know it is fine. If you upload your own, it gets flagged as UGC and we handle it differently. The biggest impact is these are excluded from public searches. If you upload your own logo, to share it with someone they will have to know your gamertag like with roster sharing.

I need to clarify one thing... the custom logos not showing up in public searches is 360 only. On PS3 they will show up in search results.
