I honestly don't know how to feel about not being able to load a CAS with a rental. It sucks, but if you're really renting it to see if you want to buy it, you aren't losing out on anything. You can still use TB, just can't load the team. So, in theory, you can mess with everything the game has to offer...it's just disjointed.

The real issue, IMO, is used games. Much like live 365, it would be punishing those who buy their games used, I would think. This is 100% opposite of being consumer friendly in tenuous economic times. I'm not one to throw that around a lot, (and I'm not preaching about price points and all that), but making thing LESS consumer friendly is plain silly.

Also, unlike Live 365, this isn''t just steady updates that you'd lose...it's one of THE primary features advertised. Poor, poor, idea if it's true.

Oh well. We'll see how it plays out.

Day 1 purchase. Online dynasty is the best feature ever IMO.

Undecided, but I'll probably end up cracking. I've been so disgusted with NCAA and Madden the past few years I've only been playing the 2ks. I'm really itching for a new experience. With the few lackluster updates we've got so far I kinda feel like EA is sh***ing all over my face. Season Showdown is an afterthought of a feature, player lock is nothing more than a different camera angle, and I tend to not get that excited when they "fix" something that they seem to have intentionally broken in the past (pursuit angles), and I don't care about TeamBuilder at all.

With all that said I will probably end up purchasing the game. If it is half way playable I will probably get a month or two of enjoyment out of Online Dynasty.
