I'm not a 2K or an EA guy. I just want great games.
I don't think it's a coincidence that EA's soccer and NHL games improved AFTER their competition kicked their butt for a few years.
And it's not a coincidence that EA's football games have been less innovative since 2K lost the NFL and NCAA licenses.
It seems like one company makes the better game for 3-4 years and then a competitor creates a superior game engine and takes the crown for a few years. The competition promotes creativity and innovation.
Sadly for NCAA and Madden fans, exclusivity complacency.
