Sweet Sweet. I've been so pumped for a Q/A thread.

This may sound like a vague question, but can you tell me a little bit about progressive lighting? What do you think of it and how exactly does it work? Thanks.

I was referring to Game Planning, Setup Plays, and Defensive Keys. Those have since been announced.

[quote=Russell_Kiniry_EA]Play Clock will stay like it was last year to keep amount of time you need to finish a game down. [quote]

That's a backwards statement. Studies have shown in real football that when the new clock changed, the average game time cut down. It actually keeps the clocking running longer, resulting in shortening the game.

I really hope that isn't the reason you kept it out...because it's not even a true statement.

Here is a link from fisher over at Utopia explaining the new clock and it's impact:

Depending on how well they've been tuned, I think these are solid additions to the game this year. It seems thought that they're being essentially ignored because of various other issues people are concerned with.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Re: Back from E3

Suppose I'll keep with the random quick responses:

I've heard the demo will be out within a few weeks (hopefully sooner). I do not know the exact date yet, but will pass it along as soon as I do.

I'm going to have to do some digging into the rosters questions as I just got back. But you guys do have the ability to edit them, so that helps some.

Personally I don't know anything about OnLive (other then what was at the show). But I am really interested to see how it plays out...

Progressive lighting as it pertains to NCAA Football is mainly the time changing between quarters. I think it adds some realism to the game, but feel we could do a little better.

E3 had both PS3 and Xbox360, not sure why the guys were only filming 360. My guess is because that is what they had at home. (we also showed PSP, only Xbox and PS2 did not show at E3)

How do you mean? You mean more detailed in how the shadows move or what?
