Question NCAA 10 speed curve

Anyone know if NCAA 10 has the same speed curve as NCAA 09 (i.e. a player with speed 95 is much faster than a player with speed 90, etc.)?

I loved the speed curve in 09. The problem was the defensive pursuit angles ...

Re: NCAA 10 speed curve

The speed curve has been slowed down significantly for NCAA 10 and the number of fast recruits has also been toned down.

Personally, I don't understand why a speed curve was ever built in the first place. The relationship between a 99 speed guy and a 95 speed guy should be the same as a 95 speed guy and a 91 speed guy. The real issue is building the curve into the number of recruits that have great speed (a normal bell curve implies the number of fast guys should really drop as they get faster). The fast guys should stand out simply because there are so few of them, not because of an artificial curve to make them faster than they already are.

Thanks a lot.

I disagree, though. I loved the speed curve. Finally made the game explosive and exciting. I hope my speedsters aren't gonna be chased down from behind by LBs with speed 80 this year.

Lol, WOG meant 50 WR a year with 95+ speed, and the majority of CB's with under 90. That's fun.

But you don't need a speed curve to make sure a 90 speed WR doesn't get caught by an 80 speed LB. You just need to make speed accurate and act the same way regardless of position. I think we will still be fine with this aspect for NCAA 10.
