Love the lock on feature!

I am very glad they added this feature. For the past several years I have just simmed the Defence of walked away from the game (or flipped channels) until it my offence was on the field again. Defence was just not fun, but it think the lock on feature wil take care of this.

I was locked on to an outside linebacker in the 4-4 formation running cover 3. I had the flats, as I was shuffling out looking into the backfield for someone to cover when I saw the LE bust through the line and sack the QB. It was very cool to watch and made me feel I was a part of the game.

I am looking forward to this game, somthing I can't say for the past three years...Glitches and all...(as would many of you if your first game was football on the Atari.....)

I just wish you didnt have to lock on the player every play.

if your corner gets a pick, and ur locked as a DE, can you switch to the corner who has the ball?

no you can't but that is pretty cool to me...it is just somehting different. I was locked on as a MLB and was stunting and the SS pick a ball and I ended up blocking for him... Liek I said, it just makes D fun again.

amen man i love this feature but its kinda annoying doing it every play but i love controlling my safety and laying the smack down on a receiver over the middle. When I first heard about this feature earlier on i didnt think much of it but after using it in the demo its definatly a fun feature.

yeah, maybe next year they can allow you to stay locked on to a particular player or select a different player from that view, but To me that is not a big deal... shoot, I may even sin offense this year and play strickly defense especially if it is a blow out and I am protecting a shut out.
