NCAA 10 Demo vs Final Released Product?

Hey guys,

Not sure if this question has been posed yet and it may be a question for the developers. I am hearing a lot of talk about how the 09 demo release played nothing like the final product.

For my own edification, what were some of the differences that were seen between the demo and last years final released product? Are we to expect significant changes between this years demo and final product? Are any changes even possible after the release of the demo?

In what stage of game development is the demo created?

How much does the demo actually tell us about the final release of the game?

No impressions of the 10 demo here please guys.

Adam Thomspon said the glitches/bugs we see in the demo, think incomplete pass on bad shotgun snap, won't be in the retail version and the over the top tackles have been either removed or won't be as common as they are in the demo.

If i'm not mistaking, the 09 demo had fairly decent impressions but when the final version came out, it was like opening Pandora's Box with all the gameplay issues and bugs/glitches.

Good question.

All I know is that the demo was sent to Microsoft and Sony about a month ago.

In theory, that means the dev team has had another two months (minimum) to tune the game before launch. In theory ...

That's my question. Why do you think the game changed so much between the demo and final release?

You got me man. Most games change for the better but that one seemed to change for the worse. Maybe the higher ups felt that the demo did not meet their criteria to be labeled "wide open gameplay" which was their motto last year. So the devs tuned it to be more wide-open and jacked it up in the process. Just a guess

A lot of the bugs in the retail version were found in features of the game not included in the demo.
