This year is an injury fest!

Seriously, every video I watch of gameplay has 1 to 2 player getting injured. What is the deal? Did they turn up injuries so we could see more of Erin? Hopefully the slider patch can address this so we can set the injury slider down.

Anyone else notice this?

Have you played the game, or are you just saying this based on the videos? I'm sure they put more injuries in their promo vids to show off the new stuff with Erin Andrews more, but I haven't seen or heard anything about too many injuries from people with the game.

NCAA has an injury slider?

Personally, if it's not completely overdone I like the thought of more injuries as I have never experienced many, if any, meaningful injuries (that is, beyond "out for game") in any previous NCAA games. Makes team depth far more meaningful.

I won't have a chance to test this out for myself until tomorrow, though.

That would be fine if EA actually released videos. No I'm talking about guys like CDJ, Pastapadre, here at OS

I thought it did, I could be mistaken but someone was talking about it, I sure hope they do, 1-2 injuries a game is good for me, not 1-2 a quarter.

Re: This year is an injury fest!

I've been getting about 3-4 a game BUT all so far except 1 was minor. With the new "Injury decision" thing they added they probably have added more frequency of injuries. Most I've seen were things like stingers or bruises etc... only was resulted in a major deal and that was for 7 weeks.

Re: This year is an injury fest!

I've played 10 games so far. First game saw 5 injuries. I've had only 1 every game but 3. Two of them had zero injuries, the other one had 3.

I personally don't think it's overdone. In order to use the "Play or not play" thing we have to have injuries...so they just added more occurances of them IMO.
