Please fix both the running animation & address the lack of momentum/locomotion.. Players shouldn't be able to turn on a dime without leaning, or decelerating. There is no sense of weight, and it has been a major problem ever since the jump to next gen.

Also, ball physics need work. It currently feels like the football is too heavy & doesn't float properly (Its also too large & too dark for that specific model). On the PS2 & Xbox it had that sense of lightness & it actually floated like a real football would.

I believe by fixing these things, many of the gameplay complaints will go away.

______________

Next would easily be the lack of presentational elements. This is college football, & its all about atmosphere.

Team Entrances
Pre-game breakdown
Players warming up
Half-Time show
Post Game wrap up
More stat banners
Coaches interacting w/players

The works... its been to long, and I can't take another year of the empty feeling game.

Many of these things were in last gen, and added so much to the replay value of the game... much of the reason I still play 06 to this day.

______________

Dynasty mode needs to be deeper, and geared more for the hardcore guys. There is so much missing that could make this mode one of the best of any sports game.

Please add some of the following:

Spring game
Camps
Heisman & award show
High School All American game
AD Mode* (Check my sig for a link)
Neutral site games
Create rivalries
Conf. logos change when changing conferences
Senior Bowl
National Signing Day presentation
etc..

Also presentation needs stepped up in this mode. How about adding an awards show of some sort, bowl week breakdown, huge celebrations for bowl game wins, Over the top BCS Championship broadcast, Pre-season breakdown... Just some things that will keep us coming back, because currently there is very little that makes me feel connected with my team, and dynasty feels weak & hallow.

Also, please take a look at Chris' 12 Ways to Improve Dynasty article.
______________

Give us the ability to pick unis combos simultaneously if its a multiplayer game, and decrease the lag the menus seem to have.

Also, do something about the facts while the game is loading.. Many of them are the same as last year's & they really aren't interesting at all.

Maybe give us the all time series records between the teams, or even scrap it all together leaving only the team logos - or even a "match up" screen that shows what team has the advantages kind of what Madden 10 has before the pregame starts.

_____________

More songs from bands are desperately needed as well. I've heard the same ones for years & they are just becoming old now.

_____________

Lastly... I beg of you developers/designers to stop with the on going pursuit of choosing to dedicate time to secondary features & making unnecessary changes, over basic football things. I realize that you must sell copies, and bring in new customers, but its just getting old, especially when things like formation subs, refs, & even running mechanics are ignored/overlooked or deemed not important year after year... Save the stuff geared toward the younger audience for the Wii. Season Showdown, defensive assist, "link plays" that actually have percentages above them, & Road to Glory being the mode that gets the overhaul instead of Dynasty... What is going on? What is the direction of this franchise?

Take the route that Madden 10 has done this year, and give us a true college football sim experience. The people that buy Madden & enjoy that "sim" style game design are, for the most part, the same ones who are buying NCAA.

Please focus on FOOTBALL related things. After those are taken care of, then you should start to think about the other small/less important features.

The new moto for the NCAA series here on out should be "Everything You See on Saturdays"
I definitely feel the same way!!!

Re: *CONSTRUCTIVE Feedback for NCAA 10*

I'm sure you have noticed, but the crowd chants are horrible & are actually killing my experience.

Any way we can go back to the 3 box style of calling plays like last gen & Madden 10 have?

When the game is starting up, there is the usual dramatic NCAA Football music, but seconds later the band's music will start playing at the same time. It creates a terrible sounding effect.

The popups for DLC in Dynasty mode have got to go or be hidden. They honestly are at every turn, and I've almost clicked "Yes" on them a few times because that is the option that's highlighted by default. Maybe have a separate menu named "Add-ons" where it lists all the choices instead it being in your face always?

The menus overall are much better than 09. The colors & pictures really spiced it up visually.

The dynasty menus layout though is a different story. In the recruiting section, the blocks that are now used instead of the rotating menus looks & feels awful to navigate. Please give me back what was in 09.

The "NCAA News" portion of dynasty is practically the same. Any chance we could go back to Sports Illustrated or even ESPN the Magazine?

The Heisman list looks pretty weak. On last gen, they had a picture of the player when you selected him.. Any way you can put this back in? It helped get me connected with dynasty, especially if it were one of my players.

Edit coach is overly simplistic. Currently you can edit only First/Last name - that's it. With presentation expected to be a large focus for 11, the ability to edit the way your head coach & coordinators () is necessary... you could on last gen.

Player of the game is confusing just the pics & arrows outlining the stats. What called for a change? With more presentation coming in 11, maybe something like ABC did with the Chevy players of the game would be nice where it gets it's own cut scene late in the game.

During practice mode, why are players in full uniform & game gear? Please adjust this so they are in shorts and practice unis, and then full pads & practice unis at another time.. Madden has this. Also, maybe some drills being done on other fields by the CPU with coaches walking around would be a nice touch, along with some practice equipment.

The NCAA shield logo when you start a game should be taken out...

In favor of this:

With presentation bound to be a large focus, try to replicate a more authentic look: (I would embed the vids, but for some reason its not cooperating)

LINK #1 (goosebumps)

LINK #2

LINK
#3 (Some elements.. not so much the dramatic candid interviews)

LINK #4

LINK #5 (SEC Champ. Intro, these games need to feel big)

LINK #6 (Gameday, the basics at least.. not the song stuff - yes, I was here & it was the best experience sports related of my life)

LINK #7 (the pick)

*Sidenote, if you could get Keith Jackson to do the BCS Bowl Game commentary, I'd probably cry tears of joy.

Some Random dynasty notes:

Tebow: 40 TD's 1 INT 9 Rush TD's

UF 14-0, Nat. Champs

Iowa 7-6 (3-5)

UNC (13-0) was jumped by Penn St. (12-0) to play in the NC game.. UNC ended at 14-0 as did UF.

Conf. swap is kinda cool. I put ND in the Big Ten, they went 10-3(6-2).

Re: *CONSTRUCTIVE Feedback for NCAA 10*

Two ideas come to mind.

1) We should be able to change the position of a player before the first season (2009) in dynasty mode. This way you could redshirt a WR then move him to DB and his season progress would be DB related.

2) It would be nice to have more control over player progression. One solution could be adding the spring game to the 360/PS3. A portion of each player's offseason progress would be determined by how they played in the spring game. This way if you had a young RB that you wanted to improve you could give him plenty of reps in the spring game.

Spring game progression would also be a great way to have players adjust to position changes. For example, if you moved a WR to DB his spring game performance would receive a boost in DB related abilities (man/zone coverage, tackling) based on the spring game performance.

Re: *CONSTRUCTIVE Feedback for NCAA 10*

Some many things so little time... but here are a few.

1. Game planning... agressvie must be tuned down as it is far too effective for the D-line

2. Presentation~ ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went into #4 USC and the crowd was fairly dead and there was no excitement~ plus I win the game and... you guessed it... nothing. Get back to the 06 gatorade shower and coach being carried off the field~ this in not optional, it's mandatory!!!

3. Formation subs~ plain and simple you can't have college football without formation subs. With fatigue the way it is this year formation subs are crucial yet all we have are meaningless package subs.

4. Dynasty menu~ sloppy and slow. I would like to see more of a Madden 10 approach. Don't burry important stuff make it clear and visible all on one screen.

5. Recruiting~ better but I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE PURCHASE OPTIONS!!!!!! Make recruiting reports free of charge and make them platy a more important role in the game.

6. Rushing~ the cpu A.I. needs to be put on steroids so that rushing is more realistic for the cpu.

7. Pre-game~ the bands are a nice touch but we need to get intros back in as well as seeing the coaches on the field during warm-ups.

I could go on but it would all be repetitive... look at past ncaa titles if you want to know how to fix this series (aka ncaa 06).

Yes. Forgot to mention this.. They are really laggy. At first I was like OK, no big deal. Now I can't stand how bad it is & how much it occurs. It should be nearly seamless.

Re: *CONSTRUCTIVE Feedback for NCAA 10*

I love the gameplay but I have 2 gripes:

1) I would like to see bigger players being stronger and being more power oriented (i.e a 175lb HB being a POWER back and having ridiculously high strength ratings when a higher ranked and bigger player is weaker. Small HB's tend to be more speed oriented)

2) While using Navy and the option offense, the camera constantly zooming out ridiculously far made it hard for me to find my reads and holes. If you don't understand what I'm saying, use the option offense and find a play that is a FB dive with the HB motioning. It'll make your head hurt like hell.
