new to ps3

i just bought a ps3 yesterday, and i needed someone to help, and just tell me what are the steps to downloading the patch, ive never had to deal with a patch having a ps2, thanks for any help.

Put in ur game and it will do it automatically. But I cannot confrim if u need to be hooked up to the internet. My wireless is all setup.

Patches on PS3 are so easily done you don't even have to think about it.

Whenever you start your game of choice and there is a patch available for that game, a screen will come up telling you that a new software update is available for that game.

It prompts you to click "OK" and off you go.

You have to be connected to the internet to do it.
