I remember this being discussed some time in early development. It kinda went quiet and I haven't heard anything else about it. I'm just looking for confirmation on whether it's in or out.

LOL i misinterpreted your post. But i'm 98% sure rivalries are stone and cant be changed around despite conference changes.
