yeah, I remember a WR in one of my Online Dynasties in '09 that soft committed to 2 other schools in 2 different weeks, then the third week hard committed to me.

I did it nonstop in the offseason on 09. I usually can steal 2 or 3 recruits a year from a soft recruits. One in the season, the others in the offseason.

Yeah I have seen it mainly in the offseason where it is a normal occurrence. I have done it during the main season here and there. But I played like a 40 year dynasty with 09. So of course I saw it more.

I have done it once alredy in 10 during my first season.

Once a recruit is in a soft commit, they will commit to that school after one week if nothing is done. If you recruit against the school they are soft commited too, and you manage to take around 15 points away from that school, the recruit will stay soft commited for the next week. You can keep doing this as long as they do not visit the school they are soft commited to. After a few weeks of recruiting against their soft committed school and pitching your own school to them they should soft commit to you.

Not necessarily. I've seen a guy stay soft committed for 4 st raight weeks without doing anything.

I've never seen anything like that, and I'm on year 8 of my dynasty. Usually a recruit hard commits one week after soft commiting.

funny this thread came up, i had this situation come up in my dynasty with Arizona state just yesterday. Years i do not have any needs i only go after 20 players, usually off the top 100 board, and no lower then 4 stars, anyways i was able to pull 3 guys who had soft commits to other schools. I took alot of my time up but i was pretty amazed cause i had never seen it happen before.
