What skill level are you playing at and what do you have your subs set at? Do you notice your players' game stats when they were hurt?

I noticed the game will take my star player out when he's having a great game or is on the verge of breaking a record. I also noticed I sometimes have a really bad game against a weak team and it seems like they are cheating and then my star player gets hurt for the season.

I think the game is just trying to make it even sometimes by taking out your player. I think its your sub settings when you are simming. If you're playing a weak team and your offense is on the field more than usual due to lack of 3 and outs someone is going to get hurt.

You should probably start some back ups when you sim against a weak team anyways. It will give them more playing time and you could always replay the sim. I do this when I love a guy for the season.

Can the NCAA team please "steal" the INJURY SLIDER from Madden 10??? I prefer to see a lot of injuries during the year as it makes the game more challenging but I know some people really dislike injuries.

Some good ideas here. I play on Heisman 8 minute quarters, and I have my Sim set at 60. Great idea about starting the backups, gives them experience and PT and keeps my stars healthy.

Most of my injuries happen in big match ups where I am the underdog, and yes it does seem that if my player is having a great game he will be the one who is injured. My Receiver that went out for the year had 3 catches for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half before getting hurt for the season near the end of the half, on a shoestring tackle out of bounds.

I will use your suggestions and see if it works out better for me. Thanks!

Yeah I dont mind an injury or two, but excessive injuries can be a bit of a drain. Especially if its your best players.
