There were a hell of a lot of new punt return plays/formations.

Re: Link to a couple of NCAA 2004 videos

OK I downloaded both files and they are the same. Is that correct? One is 24 meg and the other 52 meg but they are the same coverage. I guess one is High rez and the other is low...

Did you see the downfield blocking by the WR? Nice

The ROBO QB is there but they HAD to be playing on Junior Varsity. No way a RB could just take off down the side for a 60 yard TD on AA OR Heisman. The game looked pretty much like last year but hopefully the features will be better...

Still waiting on the word about playbooks.....

The special teams playbooks looked expanded. Lets hope that carries over to the rest of them. Especially on defense. I'd love some new zone and blitz packages.

Re: Link to a couple of NCAA 2004 videos

Maybe it was just because I was looking at the video at 3:00 AM, but I thought the lighting looked much better. The daylight looked much more realistic.

I'd also tend to agree that the difficulty level was probably set to JV or Varsity, at the highest. At those levels, every player is Robo-whatever his position is. I'll reserve judgment on RoboQb until I hear from someone that has played the game on all levels or until I play it for myself.

Oh, and thanks for the link, man!

Yeah it doesn't seem to be working now. I was almost finished downloading it and my power went out! But i saw some of the movie about 3/4 of it and I loved it. It looked like the fans and the cheering has gotten a lot better. I thought movie was great the parts i saw.

I didn't see too many differences in the graphics. The atmosphere, commentary, and crowd seemed much improved. Seeing that flea flicker makes me think back to when play action used to be sack action. I doesn't look like the trick plays will work well unless the defense totally bites on it. I thought ti was way cool that the captains weren't the punter and kicker.

Yeah although my Cavs were robbed! Robbed I tell you. I did like the fact that our QB Matt Schaub was a captain just like real life. Also I think the flea flicker could work but he did get hit really fast after he got the pitch back.
