no they don't - but its a video game and seeing them in the top 3 would be nice. Almost as nice as not seeing UF and UT in the top 10

Yea to bad they werent in the top 3 because when UT And Uf beat u in real life u will be lucky if u are top 25

Georgia will have another good team, but #8 is a perfectly reasonable ranking, and top 5 would definitely be overrated. The offensive line is one of the most crucial parts in having an effective offense. If the line is struggling, the RB's can't find holes, the QB's can't relax in the pocket, and it has an effect on every single aspect of the offense. UGA probably has some good replacements at OL, but losing ALL FIVE lineman is HUGE. On top of that, the Dawgs lost all 3 starting linebackers (especially Boss Bailey, their best def. player), along with a top 10 draft pick in DT Jonathan Sullivan. They have the talent at most positions, but if you think UGA deserves to be a preseason top 5 pick, you're greatly underestimating the losses that they have.

Just off the top of my head, they've lost at least half of last year's starters: the 5 offensive linemen, Musa Smith, Terrence Edwards, (the TE whose name I can't remember), Sullivan, Bailey, Gilbert, and Clemons.

I said UGA deserved to be a top 3 team in the game b/c of their season last year. Since they are ranked 8th this year and close to that last year( in the game), the fans will never get to enjoy their fruitful season from a video game perspective.

In no way am I comparing real life losses to the game - even though I know the game is supposed to represent "the game(real football)."
