Clayton is very talented, but he's not in the same group as any of the Williams (Roy, Reggie, Mike), Evans and Berrian (assuming they're healthy), Woods, or Fitzgerald.

I would rate them like this:

1. Reggie Williams
2. Rashaun Woods
3. Roy Williams
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Mike Williams
6. Lee Evans
7. Bernard Berrian
8. Fred Gibson
9. Darius Watts
10. Michael Clayton

I think where he has Clayton is in about the right place. People forget how good he is because LSU had a limited passing attack last year.

LSU will be loaded with wideouts this year with Clayton, speedsters Skyler Green, Devery Henderson, and Bennie Brazell (needs work but he has Olympic speed.)

And also the three great freshmen coming in (Bowe, Hill, Davis).

Craig Davis could play any where in the country.

I dont see how any of you can pick your #1 wr as someone other than Roy Williams. Hes the best player in the nation, thus, by far the best wr. The only reason he hasn't led the nation in receiving the past two years is because of injuries (and he STILL caught 64 last year!), and he has two other amazing receivers next to him. Who cares if Rashaun caught 100 passes last year. He played with no other good receivers. Same with Reggie and all those other receivers. Think what you want now, but when the season ends and Roy is on top of the stat board and maybe even heisman voting, don't say I didn't tell you.
