Conference invites?

If I start a dynasty with a small school, can I get an invite from a larger conference? I am in year 4 with my made up team from the Independants and have an overall record of 28-11, but no invites. Not even for the MAC. Anyone gotten an invite?

It's random. If you want, just save before the national title game and keep re-loading until you get one.

This is def not how it works. You need to be 6 star to get into a BCS conference and there has to be a team with 1 or 2 stars to replace and you might have to win some BCS bowls or maybe even the NCG. Not sure what it takes to get into smaller conf though but I assume it's the same concept, just lesser requirements.

In my FIU dynasty, I got an invite to replace UAB in Conference USA after the first season. I turned it down since I only finished 6-6 and didn't really think we deserved it.

it's a mixture a different things(winning record, Bowl wins, prestige rating, a team in the conference your moving to having a bad season or two and losing prestige), but o top of all that, there is a random "dice roll" that happens. it is a video game after all.

in NCAA '08, I got into the SEC as a 5* school, so unless they changed it since then, I don't think you have to be a 6* to get into a BCS conference.

as for NCAA 10, I'm playing as MTSU(1*), I finished my first season 7-6 and was invited to join the C-USA. I turned it down as I wanted to win the Sunbelt championship before moving on. then I went 8-5 and 9-4 in the next 2 seasons before finally moving on to the C-USA, replacing Tulane. I'm a 3* school in season 6. I was a 4* in season 5, but after losing the Bowl game that season, I dropped.

Younger brother plays his Dynasty with FIU, he's in his 7th season. He just got an offer to go to the ACC

I played with UK in the SEC for 6 years, then I switched to Marshall in C-USA. I got an offer to replace Mississippi State in the SEC after my first year, and I only went 10-4 and won the GMAC bowl, so I have no idea why I got the offer, my season wasn't that great.

No, I have gotten 2 star teams invited into BCS conferences before. It is about nothing but prestige. If you are 2 stars, there is a chance of being invited to replace a 1 star team. Small when the gap is that small, but it has happened. You definitely do not have to be 6 stars, nobody listen to that.
