Any ideas? Ive had many people online fake punt on 4th and 2 or less.. they just snap it to the upback(fullback) and just pound it up the middle and get it every time. I can line up in any defense and run commit b/c I know it's coming but still cant stop it. Ive actuallty started doing this myself on 4th and 2 or less and convert the first down every time. It really shouldn't be that way. Anybody know how to stop it?

It is definitely lame. I have no idea how to stop it and I encounter it all the time. These are usually the same people that play 326 defense and run commit every play.

I always run punt return safe zone but i found out when somebody faked me it doesn't work at all!!!!!

I was like wow, you gotta be kidding me.

Try goal line sam blitz? Im not really sure how you would go about stopping it.

I can normally feel when the CPU is going to fake the punt, so when they do, I always called Punt man, where you line up in punt, but everyone is in man coverage to prevent a fake punt pass. I always stuff the punt fake run on this play, but i don't play online, so I don't know if this works on there or not. I figured it was worth sharing, though.

I played a douche yesterday that did that on my goal line every time he got down there and on 4th and shorts, i stuffed him 2 out of 5 times.(last 2 times cause i figured out what to do).

I picked 4-4 crash gold, spread the line, showed blitz and brought the safety over to that hole he would run though. Done deal. If it was a pass fake i'd be screwed though

And yes the same guy was doing the quarters run commit on goalline...name C_Campbell or something, avoid playing that homer.

I'm top 100 online so I know what I'm talking about. Use Blitz C on the goaline formation. Shift your line to the side the upback is at and run commit to that side as well...stops it every time.
