Re: Whoever has the prima guide..

Could you post Miami's ratings please?

Also, if its not a big hassle could you also post their offensive formations?

Thank you!

Re: Whoever has the prima guide..

So, does the guide have the offensive formations for all the teams? If so, can you give me the formations for NC State? Thanks.

Re: Whoever has the prima guide..

Does the strategy guide have diagrams of the formations or does it just list which teams have which formations?

I heard somewhere that the game had something like 10 new formations. Does it say anywhere in the guide what they are?

Re: Whoever has the prima guide..

NC State's offensive sets:
ace normal, ace y twins, I form tight, shotgu 2b slot, shotgun 5 wide, shotgun ace twins, shotgun trips, shotgun y trips, strong twins.

They list them just like I did and then they give two diagrams of key plays for each team. NC State's diagrams are I form tight-rollout and shotgun trips-hookouts.

Re: Whoever has the prima guide..

New offensive sets (at least from what I remember)..

Ace empty, ace big, ace bunch, flexbone split (I think this is new), power T, shotgun bunch,

Defense:

They are all the same formations it looks like but there are new plays within each formation. Although it's hard to tell, there are no diagrams and some look like the same plays but with different names. One cool thing is that it looks like your DL will line up in different spots for some calls. Example, nickel fire green. This is where the LB and nickel back blitz and the d-tackles are lined up wide. With the nickel thunder green, the tackles line up tight instead. We'll have to see how it goes.

Any other Iowa fans out there totally shocked at this? Aren't they picked to finish the Big 10 in the middle of the pack? Purdue, Michigan, Ohio State, and the Badgers ahead of them? That is a pretty big jump in ratings year on year. Not that I am bitching.....

Completely shocked by this---didn't we lose our whole Offensive Line??? Don't we have huge questions as to the capability at QB and DLine? I love when the Hawkeyes get respect but this may be too much-oh well it will be fun to run them through a dynasty
