120 Ways To Win

Does anyone believe this will deliver any formations or plays that are different in any way from previous versions?

All the offensive schemes they talk about being in the new game are in all the old games. I'm not really sure why they are advertising this as something new.

Plus, their are teams like OSU that change their damn offense just about every year. Two years ago, they ran a pistol offense and last year they didn't run it. Also, last year OSU put in a 3-4 hybrid defense.

EA----just put in the ability to set up your own play book.

PS. Also...when will they put in reverses, fade patterns (goalline)

I believe it's more than just plays and playbooks. it also includes the playcalling by the CPU, so when you play a team, they'll play like their real life counterpart.

120 ways to win (great concept) but its more like 6 ways to win actually....

I mean you have spread, no huddle, spread option, singleback, pro style and west coast...the 120 teams will run ONE of those systems. Kinda misleading really...

Great nonetheless IMHO.

Texas Tech doesn't run any of those systems.

The systems in the game, are spread, no huddle, spread option, pistol, west coast, pro style, air raid and triple option, I believe. I think the playbooks will at least look alittle different than in years past like with new formations, new plays and stuff. I just hope we can add or delete plays into the playbook. Im not talking about creating plays, im talking about adding plays that the game already has in other teams playbooks.

from the OS Preivew:
Spread
Air Raid
Option
Pro Style
One Back
Pistol
Run and Shoot
Multiple (Basically a variety of different styles)

the no-huddle is more of a "variant" I suppose. you could use it in any of those styles.

also, there could be a few that the previewer didn't mention. Like the West Coast, which was listed in the "120 ways to win"video.

but with that said, not all the team in each system run it the same. Houston doesn't run the Air Raid exactly like Texas Tech. This is where the playcalling aspect of "120 ways to win" should and hopefully come into play.
