Failure of understanding on this guys part. The whole point in a read option is to let the LB in, and let the QB make a read to see whether or not to hand the ball off. This allows that linebacker to be taken out by the fake, rather than by a block.

Edit: after watching the whole vid, he had some valid points on some other stuff though.

instead of truly understanding the option based of a video clip he going to say its broke. what he is referring to was the type of blocking 10 had.

He has a point on the sweep play and the play about the full back. I noticed these as well, but he was wrong on the option play.

Purgatory? Why the hell did he choose that word to describe the blocking. It doesn't even make sense. I cant stand these babbling fools always looking for a term to refer to everything in Madden and NCAA.

i saw that but the back could have cut back and the blocks coul have been picked up. heaven forbid if they blocked him and they weren't able to detach then it would have been said it was suction blocking
