Re: IS ACCELERATED CLOCK IN GAME?

I'll take accelerated clock over the chew clock they had in NCAA 10 any day.

Reason why I hated chew clock is because the play clock doesn't speed up on imcomplete passes or after timeouts. I want to be able to play 11-12 or even 13 minutes with acc. clock in the game just like Madden 10 and get realistic stats. I couldn't do that with chew clock in NCAA 10.

You know on Madden you can adjust runoff so that there's more time left when you come out of the huddle, right? People who like to make a lot of adjustments tended to go with 15 sec runoff or so, leaving you with 15+ seconds most plays, and others who pick plays quicker and make less adjustments tend to go with 20-25 seconds to attempt to get it to 8-12 seconds left on the playclock when you broke the huddle. There were quite a few options there, so you have control. Chew Clock is just designed to runoff time at the end of a half/game.

The developers just need to add an option. Things that have been asked for over the years should be in by now and an option to have it "on" or "off" would work. Fans of the game are pretty flexible when it comes to all sorts of slider adjustments. It's simple, accelerated clock=simulation. Others like an arcade style of game.

I love the concept of being able to burn through "dead" time to speed up the game, but it would be nice to be able to control it so that if you want to make some adjustments at the line, you can.

Actually, I think the best way to control it would be the snap button (X on the PS3). You can just hold it down to burn through the clock, and once you let go, the ball will be snapped.
Personally, I love this idea.

Exactly. Everyone's different so the more options the better.

What about when the cpu is on offense? That's the problem with Chew Clock as it is, as well as that plan for accel. clock. It's great for the player, but then there is nothing for when the cpu is on offense.

Can you do this online? I only play online 97 percent of the time.

I thought the accel clock from madden worked for both user and cpu?
