Prob some offensive lineman like DeChristopher, but i usually dont care about lineman ratings.

Here is what I think when I did my ratings:

89-95 - Potential Heisman candidate, 1st round NFL prospect type.

82-88 - Very good player. Might make an all-american team. Might make an all-conference team.

75-81 - Probably a younger player. Likely a starter. Probably not a star, but a contributor depending on the program. Very possible NFL potential.

68-74 - Role player. A college player but maybe not too much NFL potential, especially if they have a rating like this as a junior or senior.

Recruits:

75-82 - 5*, stud, ESPNU150 type of talent.

69-74 - 4*, promising player, but not on anyone's top 50 list.

...and on and on.

Ratings in sports games have got out of hand. I am glad to see EA's is toning it down a bit this year.

I want to see a 99 overall when it's a guy like Suh - once in a decade type guys.

Why does everyone want to rate their own teams' stars 95 +?

Since they toned it down, I would be surprised if there was more than 1 player rated above 95. I think that player would be Mark Ingram.
