Funny, for the wrong reasons?

So I flipping through the channels and I see Donovan McNabb on the TV and stop for a moment. It is some re-run of the George Lopez show, so I get ready to change the channel and then they mention football and Daunte Culpepper shows up... okay you still have my attention. It turns out one of the characters is being offered a full ride by the two differnet schools that Daunte and McNabb went to. Still not all that funny...

Then the next scene comes on and George is wearing West Kentuky or some other apparel when a representative knocks on the door. This is where it gets good. The rep asks if George is alumni of Kentucky and he says no. The USC rep says that they cannot accept gifts from schools or the player will not be able to play college football. After failing to talk his way out of this situation the USC rep leaves, saying something along the lines how the acceptence of those gifts makes the player ineligable and that he will be reporting this to the NCAA. With the recent news regarding USC, I found this very funny, but for all the wrong reasons. After a nice laugh I changed the channel.

Yeah...The George Lopez Show is awesome. I watch it every night as well. I remember that episode too. haha
