Why has the information flow slowed so?

I have been surprised at the lack of multimedia IGN, Gamespot etc. have put out on this year's game. In terms of videos, most of those have been from random people at E3. Maybe with the demo already out, those online publications have moved on to covering other titles.

I think the Tiburon guys have been upfront about fixing gameplay issues rather than selling fluff. The biggest mystery in mind my is named rosters and if the EA Locker will be the same this year. The Sam Keller talk has died down, but it's still a possible issue for this game. Just a hunch.
