If you knew the gamertag that EA uploaded rosters to don't you think everyone would know including the lawyers? They could just get a subpeona and find out who the gamertag is tied back to, ie; EASPORTS.

There is no way they could provide acurate rosters without putting the mothership (EA Inc) in legal jeopardy.

I wish they would do that but it will never happen

Well it's not the company doing it just some of the developers on their free time. They have months and months ahead of all of us. I know they go on Xbox live and ps3 network. Why not hook us up. If they are scared to reveal their names just go by a "fake" gamertag and upload it a week ahead or a few days before the release date.

There are theories that they tried this a few years back. The "Pastapadre" roster seemed to have characters in some of the names that no rostermaker could reproduce, even those that used keyboards.

The best solution would be for the NCAA to get their heads out of their asses, make the players sign contracts to give their likeness rights to the NCAA in return for a small payment (call it a "book stipend" or something ), and then license it to EA.

... and then all of the players would lose their NCAA eligibility.
