Hot damn! This is the stuff I couldn't figure out or get a feel for in the demo.

First thing I'm doing on launch day is putting myself on an empty practice field with a Barry Sanders-style HB and testing out the controls.

The high step move is not about speed burst but rather a move to prevent you from getting shoe string tackled from behind. Of course this depends on the runners attributes as well.

When in the High Step your player will slow down slightly then once he gets out his high step if he has great burst he will shoot like a rocket. Demps from Florida will give you a great example of a player with the burst. The high step is a setup move or to slow down and let people pick up there blocks without stopping.
