Is gamestop having a midnight release for NCAA 11?

The one in my local mall is for the first time ever, but it's a good 30 minute drive so I'm just gonna go to walmart at midnight it's alot closer. My Gamestop is not having any kind of tournament though... Other wise I would make the trip out there

As of Thursday, the one in my town is having one. Even said the manager got permission to put the game out early before they open that night so people can play while they wait.

The original GS i go to isnt having one. I found another one in town that is. I asked the manager why he wasnt having a midnight release. He said that they didnt take enough pre-orders.

They have to have X number of pre-orders in the store. That "X" depends on where you live. Some GameStop managers have said its 50, so have said 100, it seems to differ.

The other issue for mall-based GameStops is whether or not the mall will allow them to open. That depends on the mall, as some don't want to go to the extra expense. Some malls charge stores that have special events extra, and GameStop and related companies don't always want to pay. The two locations in each of the two malls here in Knoxville have always done it, but can't this year because of the local (Simon Property) mall management wanted to charge them a large fee for their extra expense. Four of the shopping center locations in the area are doing to midnight opening instead.
