For games like these, you have to go in with a conservative game plan and focus on not beating yourself.

You also have to prepare yourself to handle the inevitable surge momentum wise the CPU is likely to have at some point... Be ready to punch back.

The new game is much more difficult IMO. I've played 12 games and lost 8 of them so far. In past years I almost never lost to the CPU.

I've pulled off many upsets over top teams in my dynasties with sliders I get on here. Running the ball down the other teams throats and chewing the clock up gives you the best chance for victory. I've actually trounced some elite teams from time to time. Sometimes the formula works correctly and they play down to and below your level when you get so far ahead.

i have pulled off a decent number of upsets over the last couple of years (La Tech over USC, NM State vs Texas, Rice vs Texas....those come to mind). Not to brag but like Odogg said, I RARELY lost to the CPU in the previous versions of NCAA so I cant wait for this game and its reports of being a little more difficult.

I usually take FCS teams off of TeamBuilder that are usually ranked D- overall and try to win the national title in four years or less. Yes, on Heisman.

Some of my greatest work:

Jacksonville State upset Ohio State on the road by 3.
Georgia State upset Georgia on the road by 14. Two late defensive TDs.
Jacksonville State upset Alabama on the road by 3. Last second FG. Played keep away the whole game. Think the final was 13-10.
Not an upset, but lost by 3 to #1 Florida on the road with that same Jacksonville State team. Tebow marches his team down the field to hit a last second FG.
All of these on NCAA 10.

The secret is ball control, no turnovers, and taking a few risks. Going for it on 4th down when it's close. It is possible.

Didn't I beat you in that dynasty on a last second gasp of a drive?

Good times.
