Option playbooks easy to stop?

I've played a couple games with Georgia Tech and it is WAY too easy for the defense to stop the option in my opinion.

I also have had the magnetic pitch-interception by the defense about 5 times already.

The pass plays, especially play-action, are very difficult to execute because you have to pull out of the option motion with the QB.

Is anyone having the same frustrations with other option playbooks?

I'm having big time second thoughts about using GA Tech in a dynasty now.

Sorry to bump this but I posted it in the middle of the night and figured it's burried. Any impressions on the option guys?

Re: Option playbooks easy to stop?

I played GT last night and they only scored 3 points against me. Plus they had more kick return yards than offensive yards, so same here.

Well, I'm pretty good at running the option/triple option. I play with Navy and Air Force a lot, but I wouldn't be able to evaluate this until 6PM CST.

Maybe someone else can give this a shot before I can.

Better use that Gator Heavy Jet Sweep, Jet Option, PA Jet. Guaranteed TD's Add in QB option and the Dive play at times.

Re: Option playbooks easy to stop?

I'm using GT in an OS Online Dynasty so I played with them a couple of times and it was VERY hard to get free in the option although I did manage to a couple of times. That being said, I'll probably change the teams playbook to another team that has the option and more passing plays.

Hasn't mattered so far. I've tried various difficulties and option teams.

It's easy to stop for me as well on defense.

The toughest thing about defending the option is that everyone has to get to their assignment and it looks as though the problem is that there is never a time when a defender misses his assignment.
