Re: What is your preferred game speed?

I've left my game speed at normal, turned autoturbo off and set the speed threshold at 30.

I was running the 40 in practice with Jamie Harper, RB, Clemson. He has 89 speed so you can roughly translate that into a mid 4s. With 50 speed threshold, his time barely missed 6s. When I moved it down to 30, his 40 was in the mid to late 4s.

I dont know how it would differ coupling 30 ST with a lower speed but this discovery itself to me seems paramount. I mean we do want it to be as proportional to real life as possible, right?

I played one game on slow and it was painful. I could struggle through it if I had to but it's way too easy to read the running lanes and pick apart the defense when passing. I want the split second decision to still exist.

With that in mind, I think I'll try this idea you mentioned. I was assuming that the speed threshold just made the slow, slower; not the fast, faster.

How does the speed compare to Madden 10? Is it equivalent? Like Normal on NCAA is the same as Normal on Madden, etc.?

Another vote here for 7 min/slow. It seems like the game might be a tad short though, but I'm afraid 8 would be too long. Stats I'm getting seem pretty much on par.

I play offline on slow but whenever I play online it kills me. Just seems too fast online.
