How hard is it to get Brent Musburger? Brad Nessler has been saying the same stuff since 2006, and its to a point where I can predict what he's going to say, verbatim.

Herbstreit is okay to me, he at least is diversified every 2 years.

Nessler needs new stuff, but I promise you Musberger would be horrible in this game. Some guys dont translate well to video games. Just like I always felt Al Michaels was terrible in Madde.

The commentary feels very vague and impersonal IMO. They don't say anything to distinguish one game from another aside from a rare comment about the weather.

Nessler has to go, not because he's bad but because he's been there for so long that everything he says sounds old. Even if its a new line it still sounds old because we've been listening to him for so long. Herbie needs more material as well but i can deal with his stuff sounding old as long as they get someone else along with him. I still think they can keep Nessler if they put him with his real life partner Todd Blackledge but then put Herbie with Musberger and add the ABC presention so you get ESPN & ABC presentation along with new broadcast teams who really work together in real life. And throw in ESPN2 in there and add Patrick & Craig James. Thats what they really need to do, its about time they do it.

This is just my opinion. But I think they should have like 6 announcers. 2 for a game, but each game has one or another set of announcers. Never going to happen but that would be cool. One thing I hate though is as soon as I snap the ball the pass rush is incredible and I have no time to thnik then I get sacked, and everytime they say "It was the QB's fault". They can't do anything about it but it bugs me. But hey, the commentary is WAY better in NCAA than it is in Madden. Chris Collinsworth and the other guy are so monotone and robotic. And the new guy for Madden 11 doesn't fit in at all
