Ok guys. I was messing around trying to get that play to work and I think
I found a fix. When you select the play as the offense gets up to the line
of scrimmage. Hit LT for the Slide Protect then tap the Left Thumbstick
to the left(Slide Left). And I have had 100% success using this method.
Try this out please and see if you have the same success. This is only
a fix for the user not the AI. Also I was using the FSU playbook.

Interesting. This does prevent the glitch; however, every time I've tried it (about 20 times now), my HB has been tackled making it useless.

There are some formations where the PA Boot Screen does actually work correctly, most notably Ace Bunch and Ace Twin TE Slot when the play has Auto Motion to go with it.

Great stuff! Can one of the mods make this a sticky?

Slide Left fixes PA Boot Screen with the following formations I tested in the Idaho playbook: Ace Big, Ace Big Wing, Ace Slot, Ace Slot Flex, Ace Y Trips.

It also works out of Ace Bunch Base, but as the poster mentioned above, you don't have to Slide Left for it to work out of that formation.

I used my TE to block when I use this play and I get some nice results.
I had a 35 yard TD last night and I just followed my blockers with my
HB.

Works in I-Form normal. Just ran PA Boot Screen. Ryan Williams got wrecked before he could run his route but I'm glad I didn't run a mile backwards.

Thanx Noles. Gonna give it a try in my bowl game tonight.

At least if EA doesn't patch it we know there is a work around that can get us through.
