passing icons disapear

What is causing the passing icons over my receivers to occasionally disapear? I drop back and they will all disapear every once and a while and I usually panic and throw to the wrong guy. Am I doing something to cause this?

Yeah it's a guard against cheesing with fast QBs. Happens when you're sprinting/running for your life. If you have turbo enabled, it should go away as soon as you let go of the trigger. Don't know how it works if you're on auto-turbo, though.

your dropping back too far... try taking a normal 3 or 7 step drop if your under center or a 3 step drop if your in shotgun.

if you drop back too far or throw while running backwards your icons are going to fade out.

It also has to do with the QB awareness. The higher his rating the longer the icons will stay up while scrambling, or while the WRs run downfield.

That sounds like a possibility since I have a qb with 35 awareness. I try to avoid throwing while sprinting because I know I will most likely get a bad throw. Once I spring I'm usually running for my life trying to get out of the pocket and I have no intention of throwing
