Why in recent years have they removed the D1-A teams from these NCAA games?

I guess under the way the game is currently constructed, there is not much use for these teams.

I do think it would be cool if they incorporated them into a coaching career mode. Work your way up through D1-A, to the best jobs of division 1.

Been out of the game since the move to the next-gen systems. Like most things they took out they have slowly added back. Just the FCS schools have yet to make it back and don't think they ever will.

all 120 D1-a(FBS) teams are in the game. none of the D1-aa(FCS) teams are though, most likely not having the dev time available to create the team's uniforms/stadium/rosters and the demand for them from the majority who buy the game is likely not that high and of course the 'you can use Teambuilder for FCS teams' excuse. they technically were never 'removed' as they were never in the game to begin with this generation of consoles, they just haven't been added yet.

Yeah, my favorite team real-life FCS, so its kinda whack there could be made well in last-gen games but not next gen.

Id always say incorporating them into a career mode would be awesome.

I will take a career mode with the 120 FBS schools we have now. Forget the FCS. Add your FCS school via Teambuilder.

So to be able to use the Brown Bears in dynasty, and all there players who would realistically be rated in the 40s and 50s, I must use teambuilder?
