Ahhh... That is what I have been seeing. That is not ice the kicker then. That makes more sense to me because I was seeing it in situations that shouldn't have been ice the kicker.

I'm hoping next year they go with the three button tap that Madden brought back this year. Kicking was harder on the older games with the meter when it wasn't just moving the stick back and forth

My two cents...

In real life I hate coaches doing this. I don't believe it works at all. If anything it allows the kicker to collect themselves. I remember Buffalo trying this on Dallas and Nick Folk on a Monday Night.Folk hit the 50 yarder twice in a row.

I never use it in the game nor have I used it against friends online. Might I use it now that it's in the back of my mind.... maybeeeeeee.

Anyone else turn off "Ice the kicker" before even playing a game???

EA needs to find a better way to represent kicker ability with the kick meter for NCAA before anyone gives a crud about Lee Corso spilling his shaved ice on my screen.
