So I just came out in a 5 WR set...

although in reality the play motions my slot receiver past the backfield and begins an option run when snapped.

The CPU comes out in a 4-3 Over set and blitzes 2 linebackers.

We all know about how the cpu blitzes on draws from 4 WR sets and calls 3-4 when you're passing from the Ace, but I think this one takes the cake.

hopefully this type of stuff can be fixed via tuner sets. but now that I think about it, the defense in this game has been psychic for several years now.

Come out in a pass play, and audible to a run play.

You guys are missing the point. Sure the player can audible and burn the CPU if they want. The issue is if it happens too frequently which it does, it makes the CPU less competitive. Way too easy to abuse the CPU.

I am not sure why EA continues to program the AI to call their play based on your exact play-call instead of based on your formation. If you come out with 4 or 5 wr the CPU should either come out in Nickel or Dime to match up most of the time. That is point of running a spread offense. Psychic play calling is not the proper way to program the AI defensive playcalling.

For the record though, I have been using Playmakers sliders along with lowering the defensive aggressiveness slider for CPU teams , and it has seemed to lessen the psychic playcalling by the CPU somewhat. If you really want to minimize it as much as possible I would recommend people try those two things.

Not the point. The point is that the computer picks a play according to what you are doing instead of by formation. And what's the fun in abusing the computer when they do this? I don't want to score 150 points a game because I call a 4 WR set but run, then audible to a deep pass because they keep coming out in a 4-3 D.
