I'm not a quieter. I take my beatings. If the other guy was beating me 82 to zip but kicking the ball to me I would stock it out. But if he was inside kicking after every score I would have yanked the plug and not give him the benefit of a win if that's how it works. I'm sorry but inside kicking every time is an obvious case of poor sportsmanship. The OP is only to be blamed for giving this guy the opportunity to finish the game this way.

This is tough. When I get matched up against a d-bag, my usual method is to drag out the game as long as possible (refusing to quit and give them a victory without having to sit through the whole boring affair -- it tends to frustrate them a lot of the time, because those types just aren't used to the annoying shenanigans going both ways in the games they play).

But without the football, it's tough to drag it out since you have no control.

Theoretically, I suppose you could run offsides and touch his players before every play, forcing him to sit through an endless stream of penalties being called, just to annoy him. He'd score easy touchdowns since you'd inevitably end up giving him the ball at your own goalline after a bunch of penalties... but it would really drag things out because each drive would take a handful of minutes to play, yet only take up a few seconds from the actual game clock. The game would take forever, and he'd really have to earn his victory by sitting through that.

But, then, since the guy ran up the score to 84-0, he seems immune to boredom anyway. I mean, I understand why he'd be impressed with himself and use his little trick to always have the ball and to score easy victories to pad his record... but, you'd think at a certain point, he'd start running out the clock himself just to win the game more quickly and move on to his next game.

Onside kicks this year seem to be successful at a much higher rate than they should be , it seems like they gave the receiving team terrible hands for whatever reason. Really there should be a low chance of recovering, but in the games I have played it seems like me or the CPU has been successful 50% of the time. Way too high.
