It is kind of ridiculous how they don't take sportsmanship into account. Also not being able to make a throw on 3rd and long without losing sportsmanship points.

I just make sure to run and kneel the ball when I'm up and time is about to expire, it can give you pretty good points.

For the people having issues with it for offline, just log out and you don't have to worry about it popping up. Or, since you've already stated you don't care about it, just ignore it... that simple.

i gave up on it...last year i avoided losing point and tried to earn them whenever i could and it was a pain, was thinking i'll just skip the sign up for this thing next year...
now that they force it on us and its still VERY flawed i dont care anymore at all.

I absolutely hate season showdown. It is hot garbage IMO.

Last year I saw the menu on my screen so I thought I would check it out... BOOOM automatically signed up for it as soon as you select the menu. What a bunch of BS.

Now this year it is an automatic thing when you select your team. I would love to opt out of it completely.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan. Sometimes if I'm up a lot at half, I'll throw my backups in and play like it's 0-0 to get used to them for the coming seasons, not to run up the score, just for experience.

I try to get as many "unsportsmanlike" points as possible against the CPU. Kind of like a new game.
