I try to create a game plan for each week. I will focus on a certain formation or play that I think will work on a certain team. I also practice fake punts, onside kicks, etc way more than I probably should.

I haven't been able to game plan lately because the game freezes when I enter practice mode in my dynasty.

Before a game in my dynasty I always scout the other teams best players and offensive tendencies. If a team using the TE a lot I will always focus coverage on him or manually cover to try to take him out of the game.

Re: Pre Game Rituals/Pet peeves?

I do a lot of equipment editing. I am one that always puts something on my guys if they have an injury. I started putting a 3/4 black sleeve on one shoulder if they have a shoulder injury. It looks like a harness if you don't put one on both arms.

I also edit every single incoming freshman, and give every class something distinct to tell them apart from each other. Say one year I give all my freshman a Revolution or Revo speed helmet, then the next all a schutt helmet.

I also have a very specific numbering system I give my players, it is mainly for me when playing to tell what position the guys making plays are.

QB- 10-15
RB- 20-29
FB- 40-44
WR- 80-89
TE- 45-49
OL- 60-73
DE- 90-99
DT- 74-79
OLB- Even 50's
ILB- Odd 50's
CB- 1-9
FS- Even 30's
SS- Odd 30's
K/P- 16-19

Note: I only edit incoming freshman. The users on OS do a great job of getting the rosters and equipment right for the current players. So it usually takes 4 or 5 seasons to fully institute my number system.
