A little confused

So I just started a dynasty with Baylor and I was looking through the roster of there team before my first game and it said next to one of my recievers name that he was on a hotstreak. anybody know how this is possible? I dont get what its to referring to when it says hes on a hotstreak? I have seen players have this tag during the season when they have been playing good but before the first game of a new dynasty it doesnt really make sense. Anybody have this happen? or know why hes on a hotstreak?

I'm pretty sure it's random and means mostly nothing.

I've seen newly recruited freshmen with this tag before the first game.

yeah my RT is also on a hotstreak....too bad he is a backup and has only played for a total of 3 min this season....

ya now a days we get a solid 2 pages in the instruction book explaining the game
