Oh well, I don't.

ELU and TRK were both added to NCAA and Madden at the same time.

Just like RBS, RBF, PBS, and PBF were all added too and replaced PBK and RBK, even though they're still listed as ratings.

BTK is still in NCAA because they just didn't take the rating out of the ratings screen. The same way they didn't take out RBK, PBK and THA (in Madden).
I think it is still used. BTK makes up over 20% of a runningbacks OVR rating. This is actually up from 2010. I do not think if the rating was unused they would rely so heavily on it in determining how good a runningback is.

This is where it would be great to get a developer on here to explain what all of the ratings do.

Maybe we should start a little post/ petition for ea to do one of there NCAA blogs on what each rating does. That would actually be some really helpful info.

I would appreciate if someone like you did this. I mean if hardcore gamers can't decipher what the ratings mean, how in the hell are new players suppose to know?

Ok - question:

So what's more important - having a high "moves" rating (juke, spin, stiff arm) or basically having a high "elusiveness" rating? Meaning - can I basically just take a highly rated elusive player and do no moves and have success by running into people or do I still need to do a move to avoid the tackle and the elusiveness helps with the success rate of breaking that tackle?

And since we're discussing ratings - what specific ratings help defensive linemen get pressure without having to run a 0 coverage to expose your secondary? Specifically, what ratings should I look for to create a dominant defensive line? It seems that the finesse move and power move ratings, though high, don't have any effect with the linemen shedding blocks in pursuit of the QB....
